Hi @sahiradv - thanks very much for offering this change. Can you please provide a bit more context as to why you've proposed these changes?
It looks like you are proposing moving to a local rendering of the book and just publishing it with GitHub actions. I'm guessing this is because you have now added R code, and wish to execute that and render the files locally, and then publish the rendered website.
We intentionally made this tutorial free of R (or Python) code to keep it introductory, and use the quarto-publish GitHub action as an example of how to easily deploy your book with GitHub actions. This PR would change that example workflow and would deviate from what we teach in the tutorial (e.g., here).
