Configuration Not Functional on BackTrack

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Browse to Settings
2. Make Configuration Changes (uncheck AutoConf)
3. Apply

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Configurations passed to the database can be incorrect.

When I passed Auto Configure -- no
I instead saw:

Using Interface => eth0
Auto Configure  => yes
Using Gateway   => 192.168.1.1
