Metadata created through Calibre doesn't seem to work with Aquile Reader #98

Edited metadata through Calibre - e.g. Series name, number, etc. doesn't work with Aquile. When inspecting through 'book info', metadata created through Calibre are either blank or old ones. I'd like to request for support for Calibre metadata. PS - I created this account to feedback to you.

Hi Some metadata created by Calibre are not as per epub specifications and they use custom property names to store them, whereas Aquile Reader relies upon the standard property names defined in epub specification to fetch the series name and numbers.

I realize this is an old thread, but I came here to look for solutions for this very thing. I am most interested in pulling the genres that I have entered in Calibre as tags. They are contained in in the metadata.opf files with the book file and coded as <dc:subject>Genealogy</dc:subject> as an example. Scanning the EPUB standards for XML, this appears to be the correct property name. Having to re-enter all the genres I have set up for searching is quite time-consuming.
