feature: support version.yml or version.yaml #21

Feature Request

The version.yml file should be able to be named version.yaml and work fine. In the case where both exist a warning should be emitted and the .yaml file should be used.

technically you can alter the path by setting the VERSION_CONFIG env var and pointing it to any file.
