Hi, not quite sure if you can help me with this problem - i'll try anyways:

Using your demo application in APEX 5.0.4 on 11gR2

loading 50k text into a textarea item -> ok
loading 50k text into a rich text editor item -> ok
loading 50k text into a textarea item which gets overriden by a custom ckeditor instance -> truncated to 32767 chars. The custom init code just adds some custom plugins - not more.

Do you maybe have an idea whats giong wrong ?

I confirmed an issue with the Rich Text editor in 5.0.0 with regards to saving. I have released a test version of that. I am continuing to work on version testing as time allows. I will keep this updated.

I have released a updated version of the plugin and testing application. Feel free to take a look as see if the issue still exists.

Thank you for your feedback. A patch has been applied for this bug and is included in the 2017.08.04 release set.
