Integrate extension store to core

Todo (mostly for @OverloadedOrama :sweat_smile:):

[x] static typing (Where required)
[x] code cleanup/adjustments (linting checks, etc...)
[x] UI adjustments (Awkward UI inconsistencies) like the one below. (NOTE: the other check boxes don't even have a silver boundary at all as shown below)
