EPICs are large collections of issues that all are working towards the same goal, such as "Create the API and refactor all existing components to use it". In EPICs, there will be a list of issues, sometimes with extra details about why they are connected if it is not obvious. Not every issue needs to be part of an EPIC. It is very rare that an EPIC will only contain bug fixes, EPICs are usually for large, multi-part feature requests. Linking the issues is the only way to connect them together in an epic, so make sure to put links to everything. You can create an Epic that is a work-in-progress, as in, you don't know everything that needs to be done or there are some issues that are not complete. Mark it with the work-in-progress label just like any other issue.
It is assumed that all the issues must be completed in the specified order unless there are additional comments suggesting otherwise.
