Describe the bug
Running MacOs 13.6.1. While attempting to update to the most recent version (mainly for the emoji fix. Thank you for that 👏🙌), I ran the 'check for updates' command, as well as the (I think it was labelled as follows, no longer exists in new version to compare against) 'install updates' command. Both commands produced no observable action, despite an update being available. Running the brew install command updated sucessfully.
I tried clicking 'check for updates' on the new version as well, and saw no observable action. Unsure if this is due to no update being available, or if this is the expected behaviour when no update is available.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Run (I'm PRETTY SURE) v5.4.1
Click on 'check for updates' or 'install updates'
Observe no response, despite update being available
Expected behavior
Update is identified as available, and given the option to proceed with installation
Desktop (please complete the following information):
MacOs 13.6.1, MacBook Pro
