Organizing bee party in London during Alfresco Summit #2

I'm not sure that a party after Welcome Networking is a good idea. We already be tired, some of us will think about their presentations on the next day. What about October, 9th evening? After the Summit we can take Richard with us and go to the pub.

Possible problems: some bees may leave home in the same evening.

The evening of October 9 is the best for me, though I am likely available the evening of October 6 (depending on what last minute Summit tasks there are).

I do remember Richard was hiding during the welcome reception in Barcelona, finishing the details of the lightning talks, so I doubt he'd be available on the 6th.

We should meet actually twice:

I like this plan. I don't want to drink too much beer on October, 7, but we can organize a cool party on October 9. And invite new members, whom we find during Summit.

I'll be coming to UK on the 7th and the best is to meet on the 9th for me.

I haven't booked my flights just yet, but I'm flexible. I'll be attending the hackathon, so I'll probably have to arrive the day before. If there is a meet up even earlier, I'm game. Unless I hear anything else, I'll arrive on the 6th, and I'll leave on the 12th

Some of the leadership of Alfresco engineering would like to attend the Order of the Bee social. I invited them to October 9. We're happy to buy some food and/or drink (details depend on location and number of attendees). I reserved time on staff calendars, and will let them know the details as we make decisions.

Why not on Tuesday/Wed evening? All of us we will be there.

Cristina, It will be difficult to organize a party during Summit. On 7th there is Welcome Reception from 7 till 9pm. On 8th there is a party from 7 till 10pm. So we may organize a party on 6th in the evening and on 9th. It's not ideal, but we have no other options. I arrive in the morning of 7th, so I cannot join a party on 6th. And you cannot join a party on 9th for the same reason.

I only suggest that dates because we are all there :-) Maybe other option can be celebrate one meeting during the summit and then the party (but taking in consideration that some of us cannot assist).

I'll be joining only on the meeting of October 7 (second meeting). I'll miss the first and third ones because I won't be in London by then.

I'll join 2nd :+1: and the 1st one depends till will it finish. Because I will arrive around 20.00 to St Pancras, maybe I can join directly.

So we decided to have 2 beer party and 1 party to discuss our activities during the Summit. Who is ready to find a place for our beer parties? I think we have at least 15 people who join us on October, 9th.

Regarding 9th: @marsbard will contact pubs near Hilton hotel to book a place for 10-20 people. I think that 7pm is an ideal time to start, because our sessions are ended on 5.30pm.
