Wooden slabs and buttons from the mod aren't properly tagged. They need to be tagged minecraft:wooden_buttons and minecraft:wooden_slabs in addition to minecraft:buttons and minecraft:slabs. This causes a lot of problems with mod and even vanilla integration.
