27. Write a twitter thread outlining how a convention for cataloging and exploring writing on Bitcoin could work—
In other words, design a convention that solves the “Library of Alexandria” problem - or that solves the problem of lost or censored information by utilizing Bitcoin to upload, store, organize + search written information on-chain.
This bounty was inspired by @zepplin (@pabloiquiroga on X) - an OMB holder and board member at The McKenna Academy - for the purpose of preserving and digitizing a collection of 150,000 biological specimens currently housed at the Herbarium of the Amazon in Peru. Documentation of these specimens risks being lost or threatened by single points of failure (e.g. loss of physical source documents, etc.) and we believe Bitcoin can fix this.
To be considered for this bounty, your thread must include the following:
A proposed convention for uploading text and source documents using Ordinals/Inscriptions
A proposed convention for including notes (metadata) on source data
A pseudonymous convention for crediting data sources
A spec for an explorer that can search written information on-chain (e.g. a search engine for the blockchain)
Anything and everything additional to these requirements will be considered in our review
