Hi
You need to install the fonts (the .tff file) and move the osmmsymbols into the SVG folder for QGIS. Often found in C:\Program Files\QGIS 2.18\apps\qgis\svg on windows.
You will need to close down QGIS and then reopen it for it to pick up those changes.
Hope it helps and can you report back that it has worked and I can close this
Thanks
Tim
Hi,
I experienced the same issue thr first time. You need to install the font and also copy the osmmsymbols folder to your QGIS SVG folder or wherever it's setup. QGIS can't locate the symbols based on the rule-based styling.
Thanks, Sameer
Hi Tim,
Thank you for your prompt and useful reply. It has worked and no issue anymore.
Thanks Shohreh
Great to hear
I use OS MasterMap Topography as a base map but i have a problem with the style of the topographicarea layer. I loaded the cartographictext-standard.qml in QGIS but I get some question mark in some polygons as you can see in the attached screenshot.
