Though this is an oldie I thought I would respond. Right now I have support for the Calendar API as well as Tough as Nails, mods that support different seasons. Adding seasonal features directly within Dynamic Surroundings is a bit out of scope.

OH! well... this is good to know... I'll certainly have to play around with that in a survival world now :D
