Adding a new fake biome called "Player". This allows pack authors to attach sounds directly to the player, both background and spot. Just like regular biome sound entries these can have conditions as well. Note that any weather related configuration is ignored - only sounds will be used.
In support of this new entry two new conditions are being added:
"hurt" - the player is at 40% or less of maximum health.
"hungry" - the player's food bar is 40% or less of maximum hams.
Additionally, two new sound options are being added for sound configuration:
"repeatDelay" - specifies the ticks to delay when looping sounds. Does not apply to spot sounds.
"skipFade" - the sound does not do the normal fade in/out. It just happens.
As a result of all this two new sound configurations have been added to take advantage:
When a players health is 40% or less of max a heartbeat sound will begin to play. The sound will fade when the players health goes above 40%.
When a players hunger is 40% or less of max a tummy grumble will play every 15 seconds until the food bar is above 40% of max.
For all this to work it is now possible to have more than one biome sound playing at a time. This opens up possibilities for layering sounds in an environment.
