1 year ago Just a note: Talked over some of the issues dealing with search box text, breadcrumbs lowercase and checkbox rollovers and decided that we are not making those changes and keeping as is.
- we don't want functionality like checkboxes disappearing.
- we want to keep how the users entered the search term
- we don't want to hide the prompt for what they are searching when using the search box.

This may need a conversation, I am not a fan of hiding elements due to accessibility. But see the MAC design link for reference. The checkbox don't appear till the user hovers over the image:

==================== Issue #4 Consistency in drop down window. I don't see anything in the MAC design to demonstrate what drop down windows should look like but can we create some consistency.
Currently this is what sort and show looks like on the search page:
Suggestion, I was looking across the other pages and I don't see us using line grids anywhere and the filters on the left are also not using line grids either. Possibly choose the way that show drop down appears. If its important to have a lined grid. I would replace the gold color with gray outline instead.

==================== Issue #6 Not sure if this was a POSM decision. The banner search has not text in the wireframes but in production it shows "Search Oregon Digital".

If this was a POSM decision, could we make it look more consistent with the explore collection font and weight. Same issue with filters search box "Search within the results" should also appear with the same font and weight.
