1 year ago I'm going to go ahead and close this issue since the bug has essentially been avoided. Instead of a home button I've added a back button. I think it makes a little more sense to allow the user to view the compass momentarily and then go right back to what they were initially doing.
After copying the coordinates, the navbar seems to disappear.
