I've noticed ZString in the editor mod always has an extra character at the end. See this screenshot for an example: (ignore the unknown property names, they are custom properties)
Editing one of the strings makes the extra character change in all zstring properties in the entity as well: https://github.com/OrfeasZ/ZHMModSDK/assets/43296291/a65251be-450d-47da-b253-ebb23e0050eb Video didn't embed for some reason.
Also sometimes an extra character doesn't appear at the end like in this vanilla entity 4f8e46633a4aff87 in gameessentialsbase
But then other entities around it have the weird extra character bug (0bb0867a166ab396, same brick):
This one should just be "SODERS".
