Due to the ease of machinability, prevalence and low cost, I've narrowed it down to PVC or ABS. Here's a table comparing the two:

Other things to note: Legos are made of ABS. And a bunch of other things are that need to be impact resistant (luggage, etc...)
My inclination is towards ABS at the moment. What do I need to figure this out?
