Going with "its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission" here as I can't fully debug the release process using Github Actions while on a branch - mostly because the action I added doesn't show up and apparently won't until its merged. Alternatively, I could momentarily switch the default branch then switch it back, but doing that willy-nilly seems riskier than just merging the changes I have.
All the regressions still pass and the only change that will effect anyone is the update to Poetry 1.1.6. Also, we'll have a record of the PR here and, if things go terrible, we can always revert it.
