hi @Lazarica-t ! thank you very much for reaching out. "Move Definitions" has indeed two modes: copy, and move. This little tick box is what defines which of the two will be applied:
Normally, metadata should'nt be lost in the process though at all though. Is it consistently happening ?
Though the preview image is still a feature and it still gets generated when uploading a deifnition from the Dynamo ViewExtension, you also have the "View In Editor" feature now to visualize a definition without having to open Dynamo.
Hi, I tried checking the Delete box .. and now I can't see them anymore :)) , I don't know where they are .. the folder shows as empty
From what I see, the package info and preview is always lost.. and for some scripts also the description and keywords.
Thank you very much for the quick response @Lazarica-t ! We're looking into it. As soon as we're able to reproduce and fix, we'll push a fix for this.
hey @Lazarica-t ! we have pushed changes to correct this. Can you please confirm that things behave as expected on your side? Cheers!
Hi, it seams to be working now.. no issues so far.
sweet! thanks for the update @Lazarica-t . Closing this for now, feel free to reopen if something comes up.
Describe the bug Not sure if it works as intended
Observed behavior When selecting "Move to Different Workspace" the scripts actually get copied (was expecting to be moved altogether in the new Workspace with no duplicates left behind) Also when they are copied they lose most of the metadata.. preview image, package usage, sometimes descriptions..
