Quick access minor bugs

Revit 2022 Orkestra 1.7.1

Two minor issues related to quick access.

My toolbar has become rather crowded, so I elected to use small icons for some of the tools and group them in threes. sometimes the order of these gets jumbled on the tool bar, where my users will see it in different locations. This specifically happens when I make any changes to the quick access settings. Refreshing quick access does not resolve it. Restarting Revit however does resolve it.

In the second image you can also see this icon has been clipped- this happened when using an image I had already chosen, although the image shown was generated by the AI generator, as I thought to try it out and see if it would work since my image was not working. In both cases, using my image, and the AI image, the icon was clipped off. I suspect this may be related to the internal data of this particular definition as it has been on quick access before and was re-pushed to the toolbar today after an update.

Hey @J3deye ! thank you very much for reporting this! The order of QuickAccesses is a known issue and it is true that the refresh and startup can look different. This is a topic that will be addressed in a near future with other improvement to the QuickAccess building and management. The icon size on the other hand seems to be related to a recent change we made to better handle 4k screens. Are you working on multiple monitors? do they have the same resolution?

@MostafaElAyoubi thanks for the quick response and all the great work! Yes I am working on multiple monitors, one is 2k, one is 1080p.

Also, one other small quick access issue. the new drop down for more info on tools is amazing, however it doesnt work wil small icons. Hovering over a small icon, you are unable to move your mouse to the more info button without losing the window.

Thank you very much for that information! Yes the tooltip not being clickable on small buttons has been reported 😅 . I thing if you're super fast you can catch it before it disappears haha :D But we're going to have to drop a 1.7.2 in a couple of weeks to address this among other small bugs.

That tooltip is nightmare! lol!

A nightmare because it's hard to catch on small buttons? Or in general ? 😅 🤣

While on the subject, could a setting be added to either adjust the time-delay when it pops up, or be able to put it in the right-click menu?
