Thank you for reporting this @Chrono9084 ! now this one does not sound familiar haha đŸ˜… . When you say blue spinning wheel you mean the windows mouse spinning wheel ?
No...the blue spinning circle that appears is in the orkestra window within Revit. I wish I took a picture.
I just saw the wheel again and its black....not blue. Hopefully that helps.
Okay thank you for this précision. We're looking into this and will update this thread asap .
@Chrono9084 can you please confirm that this is still happening on your end?
I will let you know if I hear about it from anyone else who is upgrading Orkestra.
Thank you so much !
This issue is still present for users who have updated and are starting revit for the first time after the upgrade.
Thank you for the update. To be sure I understand correctly : they get this the first time they start revit after the upgrade, then upon restart they don't have the issue anymore ?
Correct. It's as if orkestra is trying to load things that are already loaded so it just sits there. You can keep working in Revit just fine but the black spinning wheel prevents you from using Orkestra. Closing and reopening revit fixes the issue.
This has been fixed in Orkestra 1.9.0
Describe the bug After a user installs Orkestra and clears out the roaming/orkestra folder, the first time they login to Orkestra within Revit they will have an endless black spinning circle from Orkestra and nothing will happen. Restarting Revit resolves the issue and, at that point, package downloads start.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior Orkestra should download packages and load definitions.
Observed behavior Endless spinning wheel.
