Orkestra SSO Sign In for the first time prompt #255

Describe the bug When signing in with SSO it sends an email to myself saying I have signed in with SSO for the first time and gives me a temporary password.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Sign in to Orkestra with SSO

Expected behavior Not be emailed with a sign in for the first time or receive a temporary password that overwrites my current password.

Observed behavior After receiving the SSO sign in email I then had to reset my password on the Orkestra web app when trying to login with my username and password. Another user who has signed in with SSO previously has also received the email saying they signed in for the first time. My workspace and hub settings were fine however they said theirs were all messed up unsure if they are related but I imagine they are.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

In Which context did it happen (please select from the following list) : Orkestra Revit Addin and Orkestra Web App (signing in with email and password)

Additional context I am using Orkestra 1.9 whilst the other use that has also reported it to me they are using 1.8.3. If any other users report it to me i will update

Hi there @JesseWayneJames ! Thanks for reporting. Was the other person experiencing the same issue on 1.9.0 as well? Can you please share their email with helpdesk@orkestra.online so we can take a closer look at the content access please?

Hey @MostafaElAyoubi sorry I didn't see these notifications. There has been one other reported case. I will share there emails with the help desk now.

This also happened to me. If I am not mistaken, the day after v1.9.0 release even though I had v1.8.3 installed.

thanks for the info @juanmciller Did you get 1.8.3 reinstalled because you couldn't login with SSO at all in 1.9.0 ? Did going back to 1.8.3 fix it ?

this issue should now be resolved. No install required as it was fixed on our end. Feel free to reopen if it ever occure to you again!
