Suggestion: Script tuning nodes #36

Describe the request Investigate the possibility of 'tuning nodes' with special names to set some default values such as icon paths and script name override when in quick access mode. This would be similar to the method used by Dyno, but I'm not sure how feasible it is depending when Orkestra reads a script's contents.

Thanks for the suggestion Gavin! Could you please elaobarte on the use case? I believe these types of things will be feasable through the future Orkestra Package for Dynamo, with nodes that let you access your Orkestra Online storage. Also, the online Quickaccesses already have a centralized way of defining icons etc.

PRETUNING

It would mainly be to remove any customization required to get the script into Orkestra/Revit toolbar. I saw this type of functionality integrated into Dyno previously (similar goal to Orkestra, albeit less sophisticated).

A presets system might be worth considering as well, as this will make the scripts less dependent on data shapes UI's when the only difference may be a file path (e.g. load a different set of excel driven par meters to a family).
