3 years ago That's something that's been bugging me too 😅 . It is nice to be able to use the side pannel in Dynamo in the most recent versions but it has that very annoying drawback. You can't open them from the home screen.. What I've been thinking about doing is handle both scenarios : if you open it form the home screen, it pops a window. If you open it while a workspace is already open, you get the side panel . This is also something that can be done rather quickly. It will likely be included in this week's hotfix release.
When using Dynamo 2.6 (Revit 2021), I have to open a new empty Dynamo file to see the Orkestra view extension and open a Dynamo file from there. The extension doesn't pop up outside of the Dynamo window as it happens for the version < 2021 / 2.6
This is confusing as in Dynamo's opening screen I'm clicking on the Orkestra button but nothing happens. Moreover, I use Orkestra to open my Dynamo definitions, so having to open a new empty definition to access Orkestra and open the file that I wanted to open adds useless clicks.
