Add monorepo tooling #44

this is a monorepo, but I cannot figure out monorepo tooling for the life of me. As this repo grows, I'd like to add more

The latest release shrunk the mono-repo to only be a duo-repo, so I'm really not sure this is totally necessary anymore. Moving it down in priority.

There still some opportunity here since we could utilize npm workspaces with our package.json's. Still low priority, but definitely should think about it
