@famthegeek is now an owner :) We'll still be taking requests for more owners tho of course!
I'm just glad to help :)
Sorry to hear about your troubles. Thank you for all of your great work, hope life goes easier on you in the future!
@surrey thanks :)
Sorry to hear about your loss @OscarGodson. Congrats on EpicEditor, it really has become a great project. I'm not looking, or necessarily qualified for any sort of ownership role but I'll continue to watch the project and try and help out in ways that I can.
I've appreciated EpicEditor for the things it does not do, and am interesting to see how the roadmap unfolds. — Sent from Mailbox for iPhone

@OscarGodson I've been maintaining a rails gem for epic-editor, but would love to potentially contribute to the lib itself as well!
@zethussuen if you're really interested in becoming a core contributor email me :)
Hey y'all - is this being activey maintained? how stable is this for production use? /cc @OscarGodson @famthegeek @zethussuen
I want do a big project that will contain this project, so I want be collaborator for not to abandon the project.
This can likely be closed by now @OscarGodson right?
Nobody has fully taken it over yet. @massar i see you running through all the tickets. You can close this if you want to take it over :)
I unfortunately can't commit to that (too many hats on my head already), but I am sometimes doing a little run over the tickets to weed them out so that the answerable ones are solved and closed.
EpicEditor hasn't been updated in quite awhile due to a lot of big life events including the death of a family member, a baby, a move to another city, new job, and some other ones.
EpicEditor seems to just keep growing. It's been on HN's front page a few times. There's a version for just about every environment from Node, Ruby, to Python to every CMS such as WordPress, ExpressionEngine and more. It's even been placed in an Adobe Enterprise on-prem app. I honestly can't keep up which is a shame because I think it can grow into something even greater with a little TLC :)
If you or someone you know has worked with HTML WYSIWYG type open source projects (contenteditable APIs, etc) and they'd be interested in become a new owner of the project comment here or email me (oscargodson@outlook.com)
