I love your app very much, but I live in a totalitarian state

There are already two options available:

Follow the system proxy
Set a specific address proxy

I'm sorry, I don't know very well how to set up a proxy on Windows, besides, I'm afraid of data leakage when all traffic passes from the computer. Currently I have to use vpn in the browser to download covers

On Windows 10, the proxy settings are available through Settings > Network > Proxy.

If you don't want to use the Windows proxy, you can still set a proxy via the "Manual proxy configuration" option in BandcampDownloader. Did you try this?
