Fish bites not showing up in Fish Window

Fish bites are not appearing in the fishing window despite having caught several fish already in the same fishing hole. Bait has been consistent in all catches.

This shows your perception as 0, which may invalidate the log entries, possibly. Try getting at least one perception, I guess.

I have the same issue, however non-regular hooks (double/triple hook, precision and powerful hookset) are being counted. I have a normal amount of perception also.
