I don't think so. Are you really sure that it's the same file ? you can check that by doing right click > Open containing folder, or you can also switch to the playlist tab and see if there is only one file in your playlist or not
i've checked, it plays twice, only one file in a folder, probably a sorting issue.
Did you use a custom sorting? Custom grouping? And did you switch to the playlist tab, in order to look at the playlist, seeing if it contain only one file or 2 ? Because the songs displayed in the library are contained by a playlist (foobar use playlists for everything)
it appears that somehow the issue has disappeared, if it reappears i'll let you know.

apparently its unrelated to sorting, im in the library view and the overall sort is by genre.
okay, figured out the issue, for some reason foobar is reading from a zip file that has the music inside of it aswell, weird.
It's a feature. Foobar read zip files. But yep, it's not the intended behavior, so I think it should be disabled by default. But well, foobar isn't for the average user
if theres only 1 song in an album, it will play the singular track twice.
