Label types difficultly readable #128

I have trouble reading the test, for instance "default". Just adding a drop shadow or something like that to the text might help.

Also, default layout make the "notch" on the right a bit too close to the colorbar. I would space it by a few pixels. image

What I see on hirondelle is very good now.
