There is a planned dedicated page to providing descriptions of key PAVICS datasets: something like this: We will need to generate the content (ideally in the most automated fashion possible) ... actual .md(?) content (in the sort of box) will be in English only at least for now although the surrounding page could be bilingual.

For now we will have 4 categories:

Future climate change projections
Observational data (station & gridded)
Reanalysis data
Weather forecast data

Each individual dataset description should include:

Title
THREDDS catalog access url
Description/ abstract
Licence info
Attribution Optionally add:
Spatial domain (map/image)
Examples of where the data has been used (e.g. cb-oura-1.0 used for Portraits climatiques)

We will concentrate on data that has been exposed as NcML : https://pavics.ouranos.ca/twitcher/ows/proxy/thredds/catalog/datasets/catalog.html

most of the content could be pulled from the NcML metadata. "Abstract" is not there but could be added to the NcMLs themselves to make automation easeir?
