Weird Striping in Direct Imges #11

There appears to be striping that is apparent in the direct mosaics. I wonder if this is normal or if it can be improved.

This appears to be something that should be removed in the flat-field step.

Solved in 2f91f1f8bed77c1093dc11561ec9d088ba9c5dde as we now subtract empirical backgrounds from direct images.
