Documentation compatible with appledoc has been added to about 95% of the public API. You can check out this script for what I use to generate our docset from it. This ignores implementation files, a bunch of classes with largely C structs (since those aren't supported yet), private API, and some of the basic alternative tile sources. These docs make up most of the diff that you'll see, so it should be pretty easy to scan.
The overlay view now its own hit testing internally to account for user location annotations -- both allowing interacting with the dot, but not receiving touches on the accessory stuff like the halo and the tracking heading. These also lays some groundwork for, in the future, allowing an option for hits on polygons, say.
I didn't include the performance stuff in this commit. It's pretty small code-wise and we can tackle that in the future. I've adjusted your version of the docs for missingTilesDepth as a result (i.e., still defaults to 0).
I only really had to adjust the tileCache property of RMMapView as far as method/property reordering was concerned for documentation groups. Things worked logically otherwise. I did add some line spacing.
