Automated tournament could be held within the main city of the map. This tournament would have an award tied to it. The exact number is not clear but there could be a calculation to calculate the average amount of gold from all players on the server and take something like 10% of example and put it in the pot for example to encourage players. There is a participation fee for players, interacting with an object in the arena would put the player in said pool. Specifically what type of tournament is dependant on what is possible. But jousting could be such an event. Players will be teleported in the arena with a set of armour and horse being given to them. Countermeasures could be put in place to diminish the price pool of the tournament if this system is exploited by factions by diminishing the gold earned for the winner if an abundance of the same faction participates. Winner of the tournament has it’s banner flew outside of the arena until the next tournament is held. A minimum of players is required to start. Obviously just an idea on how to balance it out, but it’s up to the devs to see if it’s possible. Inspired by Dedmond.
