Library crashes when GPS is off

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. GPS is OFF
2. Start your example app

The app crashes with this exception:

That's a bit smug, how it auto-closed it when I checked in the source code 
change! :-) Thanks for finding it. New binaries and zipfile in downloads also.
