Now that Windows Mobile is dead support for Android would be welcomed. There is an open source project called Gadgetbridge I think could support all your work and make the Band work on Android. What gadgetbridge is about: "Gadgetbridge is an Android (4.4+) application which will allow you to use your Pebble, Mi Band, Amazfit Bip and HPlus device (and more) without the vendor's closed source application and without the need to create an account and transmit any of your data to the vendor's servers."

Thanks for your hint! The project is definitely worth a few hours of support. Now I only need to find those hours :-)
