After the test play through of 1.0.2, a number of issues were identified. Along with balancing gameplay and fixing said issues, additional features were requested by many amazing members of the community. The main changes in 1.0.3 are outlined below:
Added information about game mechanics to observer spawn
Gold monuments now provide a large double jump
Made most blocks regenerate
Provided efficiency pickaxes
Made tunnels more apparent
Made glass and chests indestructible by TNT
Players now spawn with less (16) glass blocks
Added TNT to the valley
Players no longer spawn with TNT
TNT in chests has been removed
Players receive speed in the valley

Changes to the XML were made to spawn golden apples in the wool rooms. Unfortunately, the current implementation does not appear to properly spawn them. This is currently a known issue and I hope to have it resolved by the next version.
