What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Import the source
2. Project->Clean

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see that the projects are built cleanly

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using Eclipse Indigo

Please provide any additional information below.
The issue is that Android-9 is obsolete. You need to manually fix ch11 and ch12 
to fix this.  Where the title of the book is "Beginning" and the book explains 
that it isn't going into some of the nitty-gritty parts of building an Android 
app, fixing this is not something the target (ie "Beginning" level) audience is 
able to do.  Strongly recommend a fix at the source level.
