Some UI Feedback #82

Description

A few notes from our Jun 25 session:

  1. The OvertureMaps Foundation link in the copyright goes to overturemaps.org — can you send it to docs.overturemaps.org/attribution instead?
  2. Can clicking on a feature "highlight" the feature (expand the stroke, with a different color, for example) instead of changing the color of the feature itself?
  3. Can linestrings "fatten" when you zoom way in to make them more clickable?
  4. OSM sources should build the link out to OSM: like https://openstreetmap.org/way/<ID>
  5. Can building_id link to the actual building (from a part)
  6. URL parameter for a GERS ID (would also require z/x/y)
  7. Hex codes could appear in the right color?
  8. (Way extra) A few advanced options that might allow someone to add an x/y/z tile layer as the background (and adjust opacity) - since there isn't currently a background to the map.
    • For example, I added an openaerialmap.org URL in the initialization of the map, and it looks like this: image
