thanks. ie9 support is part of GWT 2.3 that has not been officially released 
yet. we will update the samples soon.

That sample gadget was compiled with GWT 2.0 (before ie9 specific support was 
added to GWT).  I haven't been able to verify if building against trunk fixes 
it.
