Apple AES3 Audio Causes Crash #6

I am experiencing a problem where when scanning Apple AES3 Audio, the app crashes. I think the work around for this is to turn off Native Discovery for the plug-in, but im sure this will affect all Mac users/logic users as it comes with that software. Great app otherwise! :) Helped me with opening FCPX.

Hi @fr3d03,

Thank you for using OwlPlug and reporting this issue. 😉

Unfortunately, I'm not a macOS or Logic Pro user, so I won't be able to help and reproduce this issue to find the root cause. If you have the time to extract some logs, you can download the owlplug-scanner-0.1.0-osx utility from this repository. It's a macOS executable that will try to load an audio component from a file path and extract properties.

You can run this utility from the Terminal app with the following command line.

./owlplug-scanner-0.1.0-osx /path/to/your/audio.component

Maybe this command output will help us to find the crash source.
