Index Page Blan

I've tried installing this into a subdirectory. Like website.com/p/ and when I 
load the index page it is blank

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Index Page / I see a Blank Page

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.5.4 / Debian Lenny

Please provide any additional information below.
I've tried with compression on and off and I edited the config and everything 
to reflect where it should go

I've encountered this same problem.  I've tested the current code (0.5.4) on 
two separate FreeBSD servers running both lighttpd and apache -- both giving 
the same result.

I too, have tried having compression enabled and disabled -- both giving the 
same result.

Any ideas? I'm stumped.
