AS4 Module

On September 19, 2016 an agree was signed between the European Commission and OpenPEPPOL regarding migration from AS2 to AS4. AS4 will become mandatory from Q2 2019. Our questions are: AS4's integration in the Oxalis is in the roadmap? When the module will be available?

Hi, same question here, I found a presentation mentioning that there are plans to integrate AS4 with Holodeck, but github sources don't give any indication in that direction. Also mailed with PHelger who thought you already have it for eCERT ? We'd love to stay on Oxalis if possible. Qquite happy with it, but if AS4 is not in sight we'll need to find a different solution.. thnx, Gait.

Hi. We are looking into how to support the upcoming OpenPEPPOL AS4-specification in Oxalis, but there is no conclusions yet. There is a separate track on testing if the conditions in the LoU are satisified, so the official apperance on the roadmap will await the outcome of this. The goal is that you should be able to continue with Oxalis, regardless of what protocoll is the official one.

Actually, I'd be happy to help. but resources are limited, and I have no desire to compete with you :-). I'm sure I can do some development and/or testing on localized parts, but I don't have enough oversight to simply drop an AS4 solution into Oxalis. My main experience is in C/C#, but I've done some work on Java systems as well, e.g. the first iteration of Hermes, an ebMS2 service implementation.

You may consider looking at https://github.com/phax/ph-as4/ - I will to the CEF testing when I find time :) It is Apache 2 licensed, no Axis/CXF dependency and should be easily integrateable

@kfrade I have no idea about all this. Todays presentation slides will most likely end up on peppol.eu - that's all I know. When Oxalis will be ready and where the current code is - no idea. Please contact the difi guys directly. Bare in mind that todays presentations contained a lot of "if"s.
