Teams @OxfordIHTM/pikachu and @OxfordIHTM/squirtle, ready for some synergistic collaboration?
By now, you may have noticed that in order to solve your problem sets, you both need to identify which of the children in the sample are SAM (and MAM). Do you agree?
Given this, I would suggest that both teams work together in writing code that classifies each child as to their acute malnutrition status. Team @OxfordIHTM/pikachu has some initial code already that does this but I have challenged them to look into alternative ways to perform this classification.
I think it will be beneficial for both teams to work on this classification code together and then once you have done that and I have approved it, you can then diverge again to address your more specific tasks to solve your problem set.
This is a suggestion. It's up to each team to consider this and see whether you would like to do so.
