Well, probably not a spacer but rather a note that the AFE connectors should be soldered approx 1mm away from the PCB to increase the length.
Looking at the connector models more closely I think this will be fine; the connectors are sprung so that contact is only at the tips so not much insertion should be needed for proper contact. Still to be safe I’ll leave the connectors off the initial BOM and solder them be hand once I’ve test-fitted.
The -33 connectors are too long given the male connectors used in Stabilizer. The -23 connectors I've used look a bit marginal. See the STEP exports for a clearer picture.
Consider adding a spacer to increase the contact area between the male connectors on Stabilizer and the female ones on the AFE?
