Description

Controllable with Android TV Remote

Problem solved

I have a Raspberry PI running Android TV and was looking for a dedicated music player to use, and so far Auxio works well, but the UI does not support using a remote control it needs a touch screen or mouse.

Other implementations

I am not finding any other music players that work well with Android TV.

Benefit

Expand the install base of the app.

Have you tried out the APK in #37? I think Android TV is capable of communicating with that by default @NipTweak. If not, I'll research it.

I was not looking to stream Auxio to my Android TV, like Android Auto that #37 appear to address

I was looking for something that would be self contained on TV itself with the music on the TVs USB. Auxio does work but it can't be controlled with the TV remotes controls only a mouse pointer function.

This is more a case of can use of the Android's directional controls be implicated to Auxio UI without needing a complete overhall or redesign?
