If you are using the dev branch, you can see that it runs into the exception part. It's a temporary fix until someone can find a way to deal with that null reference exception issue. You can try without the exception checking code, but when typing !nominate, nothing shows up as in https://github.com/Oz-Lin/cs2-rockthevote/issues/2#issuecomment-2357586373
