Supervisor can edit his/her profile page. Supervisor can edit following fields: ID, First name, Last name, Username, password, e-mail, short description, tags, homepage,

Do we need a username or can e-mail be used as a user name?

I'm not sure that we need editable tags for supervisors. Instead of tags we could display keywords from defended theses supervised by that supervisor.

Profile image could be displayed from Gravatar.

There could be also URL fields for most important research databases:
