tried to get a basic fm block diagram working in gnuradio on the same machine we're hoping to access the police transmissions on.... our main hacking went into setting the correct sampling rate (the radio samples at a higher rate than we wanted to send through the air via our microphone...or the bandwidth received needed to match the bandwidth of info sent from the microphone to our ears -we did it through audio decimation)...
i don't know if this applies to our project because we were working on frequency modulated decoding (fm decoding) and i'm not sure the decoding thats being used in trunk recorder (see dsd and op25 dependency??)
